i'll make this quick. i'm at the street races just to see what its like in everett w.a we get to a spot and these slow civics and what not are racing, then this 280z pulls up and kills these cats and i'm just sittin back laughing, then this svt contour pulls up next to him and they send 2 people down the road of what they believe is 1/4 and time these guys
they take of and and the 280z barely and i mean barely beats the svt
when they get down to the cars they say over the walky talky he ran a 12 sec flat. :screwy:
i'm thinkin to myself, (are you serious) so i'm getting ready to race this cat and then the police came.
moral of the story is, i know speed, i've been to the strip
and this car wasn't even running 14.0
these kids are dumb

HaHaHa, a 12 sec. quarter mile and 14 sec. quarter mile are worlds apart....How can they possibly confuse the two? Must be a seriously short 1/4 mile drag. :grinno:

A 280 can not run a 12 sec. 1/4. maybe it could if it was powered by NOS itself and had a nice big turbo.

exactly, not to mention that would mean the svt contour runs a 12.3
and also when i was there i asked this guy in this 1st gen gsx, totally stock if he woiuld race the 280z he said he had alredy raced him and he barely lost by half a car length, meaning its impossible for him to run 12
dumb kids that have never been to the track, thats what they are.
