Are there any major differences between the SR20DE and SR20DET that would prevent me from getting the same performace if I just added a turbo to it, like pistons, piston rings, head, etc?

The DE can actually be a potent engine in race form
The thing is, by the time its turbo, you may as well have installed a DET and gotten a couple goodies for it

Compression is different obviously so that would have to be dealt with. I'm not sure about other things, but I'm pretty sure that other than turbo shit (intercooler, manifold, etc) you should have a de to de-t conversion completed.

ok, so theoretically, if I wer eto swap in an SR20DE into a 240, what car would it come from? I know the Sentra SE limited edition came with it, but thats FF. At the moment, thats the only USDM car I can think of with it stock.
Anyone know?

the NX2000, the 200SX SE-R, and the old sentra SE-R,infiniti g20, as well as the b15 chassis sentra SE had it. then again, those are all FF cars, no USDM FR cars had it.
