My controls back to front ?

Hi guys please help.
I'm a newbie

I just bought a Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 yesterday.
Built the thing up and dohhh,
When I move the joystick forward ( to accelerate )
The car steering moves left and the same when I reverse
The car moves right?
Obviously the controls back to front.
Any idea why this is happening.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated
