Hi, I'm new here, but not new to car models...
Do you have any themes on collecting the models, because at least I think, that a car model collection with a certain theme is a Collection, as random "nice car models" are just random car models.
My own theme is Opels, and Opel-related cars (Vauxhall, Holden and some Lotuses, Caterhams etc) and I have about 100 of them at the moment on my collection. Smallest ones are 1/87, some 1/64's, majority in 1/43, couple of 1/24's, over 10 1/18 models too and 2 1/1 size Opels make my collection.
Some of the models are just standard Minichamps (Paul's Model Art), Onyx, Vitesse, Busch, Herpa, Revell, Schuco, AutoArt etc models, and some are modified, e.g. I have built replicas of both of my 1:1 size Opels and restored and modified some old destroyed models I've bought from model swap meets. Most of the models are Minichamps and that is my favourite manufacturer.
I could post some photos from my collection also some day, even I haven't photographed all of them.

The vette collection started with these two...

I started out with no clear theme in mind but now I'm concentrating on rally cars and mostly looking for anything related to estonian drivers. It's a small collection at the moment but hey - a girl gotta start somewhere :D
edit: sry for bringing up an old topic.

The theme of my collection is PERFORMANCE! Be it race cars or street cars, even my two 1930's era cars are performance oriented:
