All I've done so far to my '02 Z71 is put on the BFGoodrich All-Terrains. I don't plan on doing too much more. In the near future I'd like to add a K&N kit, spray-in bedliner, bed rail protectors, recessed tie-down hooks, and an underseat storage compartment under the back seat. I might add a grille guard and winch, but that'll be further down the line.

Look, I don't want to argue over something stupid like this. Its just you asked for pics and didn't specify "stock", you said you wanted to see what people have done. You just didn't have to be such a dick just b/c you don't like my truck.

i actually prefer lowered trucks, i don't see the point in taking new ones out offroad, and getting them all scratched up, if i were to do that, i'd get something older, and beat the shiet out of it.

thanks...I got em back before everyone else decided to get the same exact wheel, and when chevy decided to put them on as an aftermarket option. now I see them everywhere :banghead:

I bet I know what happened though..everyone saw them on my truck and noticed how bad ass they looked so they had to run out and get some just like it. Oh well, disadvantages of being a trend setter, everyone copies you. :lol:

alright man i'll give u credit to your ride. i like the paint job and the grille is pretty tight. right now i havent got much on my truck other than 285/75/16's instead of the 265's that were on it and i got a #8 sticker on the back windshield, true redneck, but i plan on doin quite a bit this summer. i'm in the midst of deciding what exhaust system to order and how big of a lift i want. after that maybe some small engine work. and one thing i take seriously is runnin over imports, so no i dont drive one, never have, and sure as hell never will.

I just got back from the muffler shop. I happy with there work so far. Those performance mufflers have to break in don't they? It's a 40 series flowmaster and it's not very loud. I think it started to get louder as I drove it home and to Arby's.

Here are some pictures of my old truck. Rollpan/Shaved door handles/shaved handle on the tailgate. Lowered, suspension, etc., as well as some performance increasing mods that you can't see. (Hypertech/headers/Nitrous/Air Intake)

Ive sold the truck to my uncle (goddamn i miss it), and since then hes replaced the wheels with wheels from the Current SS Silverado, and added even more horsepower.

The site is still up, but the only thing on their that matters are the links to the pics. (The business is on hold... but I still can get parts cheap as dirt)

What're you talkin' about?!? A Z71 is meant to be dirty, in fact I'm embarrassed those rare times that mine's clean. :biggrin:

I try to keep mine fairly clean, but EVERY time, I don't care when it is, if I wash it, 2 hours later it's going to rain. BTW, nice ride. I just wish I had some fender flares.

Got to love that @sshole weather. Anyone found anything that will take out some scratches I've acquired over the past few months?? Not deep ones, just ones that piss me off. I've had the whole truck re-painted 4 times in the past 4 months except for the passenger-side bed (Damn Deer) :cya: and want to make it kind of blend in a little better when it's clean.

I never let mine stay dirty.. It was a truck for racing and lookin pretty. Besides ya dont take a lowered truck offroading. Instead you take it Mustang and Lightning hunting. :smokin: I think I should have made a bumper sticker that said the "REAL" SS or something. <Kicks Chevy>

Ya know, I just found out something interesting. I have hideaway strobes in my parking/turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, and some red strobes in the grill. A digital camera will not capture a strobe flash...looks cool in the camera, but it just will not do it. gO FIGURE

Maybe, although I was eyeing those Warn Hidden Kits that house a custom-size winch up under the front bumper and almost completely out of sight.

BTW nice truck. Black Silverados, especially Z71s, are awesome looking. Unfortunately buying used cut down on my choices and I got such a good deal on the pewter I couldn't pass it up. I'm definitely envious, though.

I bought a pewter z71 stepside used also with 20,000 miles. When your looking for a used truck, you have to settle somewhat. Luckily for me, that was the color I wanted and would have bought if I could afford brand new.

Red is off the chain.. it seems easier to keep clean to me also. My color blue is hell to keep clean for long.
