Ok guys, its time to start looking into a quality exhuast system and i was wondering which companies make catbacks for the P10, which is the best and where i can find one at a good deal? Also is a cat back for an SE-R the same as one for a G20.
I was thinking about going Greddy but not sure where to find a good deal on one?
Also how much can i expect to pay?:D :D

There aren't to many choice for the p10 in the way of exhaust, Remus makes a rear 1/3 for the P10. I think HKS makes a full cat for the P10 also, but I'm not too sure about that one.

hmmm.... well i'm still looking for a good buy, anyone know if its the same for a 91-94 SE-R or not, and alos where to buy. the shops here in town blow ass and are way over priced.

I don't think the Nissan Se-R exhaust will fit, otherwise, more people on here would be buying catbacks rather than having custom exhausts made.

Thats what i figured...thanks. Also does anyone here know where to find a decent deal on Greddy exhuast systems?

The SE-R exhaust will not fit.

Greddy is nice, but expensive. (around 500$)

If you are going turbo, then custom is the way to go.

Greddy exausts sound THE BEST. I got mine from importparts.com last year. Go there.

Yeah definatley, As for price the cheaper you can get it the better, obviously. I would just rather go with a quality name brand rather then going with cheap shit. Yeah if you could check and see the price that would be great.thanks:D :D

I can get a new Greddy for around $470 plus tax. If the HKS is cheaper and that's what you want, than get it. I like the look and sound of the Greddy better though. Then again, it's not up to me.

I was comparing the HKS SE-R to the G20 Greddy MX. I didn't know HKS made a cat-back for the G20.

Hey blue.....I am still waiting for the quote...he told me like 450 then when I am ready to order...he says its a little more....so I talked to him...and hes going to get them for cheaper if he can.....Sorry for the delay....just tryin to help you out. Do you want an HKS if it is still close to the price of a greddy? Or would you rather take the greddy? Just wonderin.... :alien: :bloated: :licker: :smoka:

To my knowledge HKS doesn't make an exhuast for the P10 (in the US that is). There should be a 5zigen application soon, but they are loud! Greddy, remus, or custom are the choices right now, that i know of.

Hey there guys.
I was wondering is it not cheaper for you to get a custom made exhaust instead of the brands(hks, trust, greddy etc). Down here in NZ it is WAY cheaper. For a nice exhaust custom made with headers, two resonators and a rear muffler, no cat, in anything from 2 1/4 to 3 inch retails for about $450 US.

you can get cheaper custom made cat backs...but the problem is finding someone who does a good job.....that why some times it safer to stick with well establised brand names......:)

That makes sense but for us your talking big prices. All for perhaps 5hp and mostly looks and sound.

yeah thats understandable, here there is so little difference in price between good custom and brand......it is easier to go with brand, for that added bonus of owning a brand name...:hehe:

I too would love to have an hks exhaust, bar the thousand dollar price tag. The import scene over here is not quite big enough but it is growing and one day we to wil have cheap Jap stuff HAHAHAHA. Sorry getting carried away again...

Unfortunately here in the US, there are really no exhuasts available for the P10s. There is a greddy, but i think it's been discontinued (and the looks don't fit my tastes), there is a possible 5-zigen application (i forget what happened of this... but 5-zigen's are rather loud, for my tastes), and then there is the remus, which is very nice, but only a rear section, and rather expensive (but worth the money, IMO). I am personally going to go with a custom catback do to the price, and options available. I'm hoping with good stainless muffler and possibly a stainless resonator, it shouldn't be much over $300, once all said and done. That's about $150 less than the greddy, at the lowest price i've seen on it.

You could get a cheaper, but not so good, version here too. About $350NZ ($125ish US) for 2 1/4 cat back. The mufflers wouldn't quite be as good and probably quite noisy!

Hey nis.k.a,

Does the greddy make a lot of noise inside the cabbin or is it still comftable to drive at highways!? :)
