Aem Cai?

Is there any other year of civic or integra aem cold air intake that will fit the 91 civic si without having to move the battery to the back?

90-93 Teg should work fine.

EDIT: I don't read right.. Why not just get the 91 Si CAI?! It won't require relocating your battery.

well the thing is that this is for my friend and he is on a low budget. We have noticed that many sites have the 90-93 teg or 96-98 civic for like 30 or 40 dollars cheaper then the one for his si.

...if he's on a budget..then just get a generic cai with a good filter... why waste your money on aem??

Is the AEM V2 really that good cause the price is HIGH

...its a damn filter on a stick!!..how much better could it be?? unless the filter is different or something..its all aobut the filter..

the AEM V2 has sound wave expansion chamber technology, so technically, it has the potential for 1 or 2 more hp. Are you willing to pay upwards of $200 for 2hp? i know i sure wouldn't do that....

off topic...but...

what the different between short ram and cai? which better...cuz i dont see a different except one shorter than the other...

a cai is better cuz it flows colder, more dense air into your motor, the denser the air the higher the hp gain from it. the one downside of a cai is that if you run through a deep puddle and suck up water, you can hydrolock your motor.

if money is really a concern, and you want performance...head to any store and get a k&n drop in filter for your stock air box, and remove all that snorkel shit and what not from your bumper...trust me, it works just fine...
