Intercooler Pipes

I was just looking for BOV compatibility with different IC pipes. I had heard that pipes flanged for greddy could also take a 1g BOV but i wasn't sure. If this is an idiotic question, feel free to ignore.

Greddy and 1g BOV flanges are different, not interchangeable at all. Now, I have in the past "modified" a 1g BOV to fit on a Greddy flange, but leaks were almost always a threat. Most good pipe makers like ww.dejontool.com will weld on whatever flange you specify anyway.

I had been thinking about buying a used pipe with a greddy flange, I thought that I might have heard that either worked, my mistake? Is there an adapter that could be used?

I dont think I have ever seen an adapter. But if you know someone or a shop that can weld real cheap, a 1g BOV flange is like 8 bucks at RRE. Just have it welded on in place of the greddy flange. If the welding is free, its an 8 dollar fix. ;)
