Daytime Running Lights

My friends dad has a 1996 Cavilier that he just bought and for some reason his daytime running lights do not work. :mad: His one bright on the passanger side works but not on the driverside. If you get in the car the daytime running lights indicater flashes fast. He has current going to them. We tested both sides and we are still not understanding why there not working. I have a cavilier myself but i have never come across this problem before. Please help me. My frineds father expects me to now everything about this car sence I have one and it just dosen't work that way.

same thing happend to me, check the wiring.. mine turned out to be that one of the wires i guess was bent too much and just stopped transmiting power so i just played around with it a bit and used some electric tape and got it working again... check the bulbs too
