Acura 2.3 CL Manual

Hello Everyone, I had a question I was hoping to get some help with. I am looking to do some misc. Upgrades to my '98 2.3 CL both interior and engine.

I don't like digging into things blind and have been looking for a manual for the car. First stop was an auto parts store but the Haynes manuals don't have the car type. I'm told they just don't make them. I have found a few "Mechanic" manuals for my model and several others but I can't seem to find a repitable place to bye it from.

Does anyone know of a place, store, or website I can pick one up at? I like my car and don't want to be breaking clips and other assorted goodies on it. at 112,000 Miles, its still runs great, even if the windows are a little slow to go up and down. :)

Oh, and if you know of a place in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, that would be VERY helpful. Thanks.

I work for an Auto parts store and there are no manuals for your car But I also work for an Acura Dealer as a Tech for a few years. Break down and buy the dealer service manual everything and anything you want to take apart and put together is in that book. And they are so simply writen and the ill. are the best I've ever seen or used. It has clip removal screw and bolt type and location and if you want your windows to move a little faster get some 3m silicon spray and with the windows in the down positin use the tube and spray in the channels at the front bottom and at the back starting from the bottom and go up.

Cool, Thanks. I'll start looking for where I can pick up the Dealers Service Manual. And thanks for the window thing, I'll try that before I replace the motor. Is it difficult to get a Dealers Service Manual if your not a dealer?

Call Helm Inc. at 1-800-782-4356 They are the company the dealership will get it from, but you can order it directly from them and save a few bucks. A 98 2.3 CL service manual will probably run close to $60 while the electrical troublshooting manual is about $40 if you need that also. They are more expensive then a Haynes or Chiltons, but they're what the Acura techs use so they are the best.
