hm... a '96 GT-R with no mods and 72,000 km will cost well under $20,000 to purchase in Japan. Let's add in a liberal figure of $25,000 for shipping, legalization, etc. and we end up with $45,000.
For this price, I would be interested.

speed no need for sarchastic replies. You can pick 96 GTR's for around the $45-$55k mark through RB Motoring or MotoRex. That is prices I've seen on their sites. At lot depends on condition naturally.

Just a little FYI here: MotoRex seems to want $80k for an R33 GTR (here's their stocklist (http://www.motorex.net/stocklist.html)). RBMotoring, on the other hand, has 95 R33 for for a mere $47.5K (here (http://www.rbmotoring.com/stocklist.html)).

That one at Motorex has a fully built motor and is putting out around 800+hp. That's a good price for what your getting on that one.
