type-s engine falling down

My friend was thinking of buying a type-s and the day he went to trade in his celica he read somthing about the type-s have this feature that if it wrecks then the engine drops below the drive for safty reasons. He read that some people have hit bumps and the egine drops. I think its all BS but iv never owned one so i wanted to find out. If any of you all know anything about this then it would help.

I have an RSX type S and I live in redneck virginia and to go along with it I am a pizza delivery driver so my car has to go on really rough back roads and I have hit some pot holes and some horrible bumps and I have never had that happen. So I wouldn't worry about it. That is just a rumor.

Yeah, i work for an Acura dealership in Massachusetts, were some of the worst roads in the nation are found, and i've never heard of anything like this so no worries.
