OK. I must have been sleeping on the Dodge Neon... where the hell did that come from? The SRT-4? I haven't seen one at any Dodge dealers around here... though I'll be looking a little harder next time I pass one. Maybe I'll to take it on a test drive and add that to the list of others I've taken for a "shits and giggles" ride.

You can read more about it there if you want to, they've been out for a while now I've only seen 3-4 at the local dealer in my town though, and they haven't sold that well (trucks sell around here like crazy) but they're pretty popular in most places.

IT'S A NEON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the most horrible thing I think I've ever seen. I don't have the fastest car in the world but at least it isn't a neon. Oh yeah supposedly they're going to start javing options like limited slip diffs and stuff like that for the SRT-4. i read that in Sport Compact Car last month.

The 2004's already have it. Quaife limited-slip and Stage 1 injectors and ECU tune for a proven 240+ wheel-HP.

LOL, j/k, but I think I'm about $19,879.56 short on buyin a Neon, or any new car, for that matter.

I don't see why most of you people think that the SRT-4 is just a Neon with a Turbo, it isn't. The car isn’t even being marketed as a Neon, nowhere on the car is there a Neon badge. The frame is different, the suspension is different, the interior is different, the exterior is different, and all the mechanical parts and the drivetrain is completely different.

Anyhow; if you're ignorant enough to judge a car as being a pile of crap because of a badge that is on it or by the fact that it looks like another car then your opinion is worthless anyways.

OK. I saw the Dodge website and I went to the dealership and looked at the SRT-4 (which was sitting next to a Neon). No, this car is NOT a Neon. It looks more aggressive. I would have liked to get it on the road for a minute, but they weren't allowing test drives at the time.

I did get to crawl around the car. Personally, I like it. It looks good and it has some serious power (230hp, 250 ft-lbs torque). It's on my list of potential next cars, so I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Well thats kind of like a Trans Am versus a Firebird or a Cobra versus a Mustang. A Trans Am is still a Firebird, a Cobra is still a Mustang, a SRT-4 is still a Neon, just one fucking fast Neon. It uses the same bodystyling, the interior isn't that much different aside from guages and aluminum pieces, and of course the Viper seats. Exterior wise the only differences are the hood scoop, dual exhaust, spoiler, and a couple vents in the front.

Not to the best of my knowledge..... although it has been severely limited to learning and reseraching as of late. Damn work schedule.

All I wanna know is who is the girl from the video. That woman is hot!!!!!!! If anyone knows that models name, please tell me. I emailed Dodge in regards to finding out what her name was, to no avail.

VIPER seats!!!!!!! how cool is that? Well only if you get one with no side air bags.

I never realized SRT4's came with side air bags. I actually got to sit in a yellow SRT4 with those Viper seats and I do not like them at all. If that truly is the same exact seat from the Viper then I would hate being in an SRT10. The seats try to stab you on the sides, making it really uncomfortable.

Regardless I bet that becomes a popular seat swap for Neon show cars.
