i just noticed this now, and i'm not sure if anyone else did. but we are now the most-posted-in Nissan forum on AF! we've got Maxima beat by 1000 posts. we even beat the Skyline forums, which have 18 seperate sub-forums and about 5 different mods. give yourselves a pat on the back! :biggrin:

aw maxima's are tight too, both nissan. My parents own a 95 maxima, that thing is pretty fast stock. i drove it before my 240sx, my parents would've given me the maxima but I had to get a 240sx. Superior handling, style, control, and speed (once you mod it, which i plan to do when i get more money).

i know im just playin around

yea the difference between max's and 240's are very small.... both very good cars.

i still like that lil 240, but my max has so much more room inside (and more power stock). but if i would have to build another car it would be a 240. it's just so stylish and fun to drive since its so small.

if there really is genuine interest in a sub-sectioned board, as Dorikin suggested, then i will put in an inquiry. something like:

-Main Area for general chit chat amongst members about 240SX, also for general questions
-Engine Swaps obvious
-body mods
-FAQ again, obvious, but only mods could post here so that nothing stupid is added and it's just a place to learn
-Members Rides discuss your car and what you've done to it, what you use it for, etc.
-240SX motorsports discuss your latest drift competition, SCCA round, best ET, etc.
-classifieds

Maybe a technical area. someplace to post about technical question that may not be covered in the FAQ, suspension mods and performance mods. unless you'd want that to go in the members rides section.

I think we should get a couple more mods. I know this sounds like a shameless self-promo(I'd like to mod a section), but its already a HUGE section, and if we have all these sub-sections, we need at least 2 other mods.

Lets see if we can take this to Igor, and give the 240SX what it deserves

Yea, Sounds like you guy are off to a good start. This would be a great addition to AF. THis would probably lessen the amount of questions that we see all the time like rb swaps and sr swap. :smokin:

Ill make a webpage for the FAQ section and have maybe igor host it on the af server if possible. it will be easier than having the n00bs read the FAQ in post form, which they wont do anyways. ill make it so that they can click on what their question is related to, then it will shoot them down to another section where they can narrow it down to find their answer. and if the answer isnt there,.. then they have a right to post their questions :D

a mod needs a bit more than "knowing his shit" about the 240. they have to be good decision makers and impartial. think of the managers at your work. You know that they wouldn't be able to do your job (knowing about 240's) but they keep things flowing for you work place (good decision making for your work place). get what i'm sayin?

whatever you do I obviously support it 100%, I haven't been here long enough to have a good say in the way things work, but I think it would be cool... and hell if it doesnt work out.. you can always go back to the way things were right?

another thing perhaps would be to have a private access sub-forum where only people who have met a mod, or are close friends to someone who have met a mod have access... in this sub-forum we could discuss freely things such as race/drift locations... and other things you wouldnt want prying eyes to see... be it little punks in moms minivan or police...

a) we are not even sure if we will need another one yet.
b) if you get your hopes up and get shot down, you won't like it.
c) you have no say in who gets picked and who doesn't. in the end, it's Igor's choice. besides, didn't we all learn in grade school that the person who goes "OOOH PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME!" is always the last one chosen? :p
