OK, This is what happened. I broke a coolant hose that goes to my heater core. Then my car just died. I Checked to make sure i didnt sieze the engine and i didn't. My timing belt is a little chewed up now and i think it might have slipped a gear or something. But i have spark and fuel going to the engine but it just won't turn over. The car soudns like it wants to turn over but just doesn't do it.ANY IDEAS??? Thanks a lot.

check your CAS (Cam Angle Sensor) and your timing, cause most likly your timing is off which is a major reason why your car wont start!!! hope that helps, all i can think of right now...

Both my timing and the sensor are good. Could the computer have gone bad? I am so clueless right now i dont know what to do so any suggestions would help.

According to your profile you drive an accord. Please let us know what car you drive so we can help you. If timing skipped on an interference engine, you may be looking at a rebuild.

Yeah right now i drive an accord the eclipse is my other car in the driveway that i am trying to get on the road again. I took the whole top part of the engine apart last night also.. All the valves seem to be moving fine, pistons are moving fine and there is compression too. All my timing marks on my cam gears and everything are also still alighned.

i thought you said that it wouldnt turn over...so how would you know if all that was working right or not when the engine doesnt even turn over... "THE WHOLE TOP PART" yea that really sounds like you know what your doin, try valve cover, and how many timing marks are on your cam gears??? sound like BS to me!

OK, this is my fault for not paying attention real good to what I am typing. First off when i said turnover in the first thread i ment it won't turn on. So let me resay everything. When i go to start it, it just cranks but wont turn on. Now, i checked the spark to all of my plugs and i am getting spark. I dont have a fuel pressure gauge but i am trying to borrow one, the same with a compressino guage. BUt as far as fuel goes the best i can tell you is that it is reaching to the injectors but i am not sure with enough pressure. Somebody told me to make sure the valves werent bent and the engine didn't sieze. So i took the valve cover off and cylinder head. No bent valves and the pistons look and move perfectly fine. I was also told to check and make sure all the timing marks were aligned in the right spots. MEaning at Top dead center the two marks on the cam gears should be directly facing each other. Now the belt is a little chewed up on the top but i dont think enough for it not too start. The battery is completely dead so any codes the computer would have give are no longer there and when i test the codes all i get is the code 1, which is normal. So i am guessing now its not the computer and i am back to where i started. So i hope that is a sufficient amount of information. So maybe you guys have some better suggestions now that i clearly stated everything i did. Thank you very much for your suggestion already and any more would grealty be appreciated.
