OK folks, quiz time again! I found this one posted on another site and figured let's see if people here can answer these questions?

1. The '83 Mustang GT came with an SROD four-speed manual trans. What does SROD mean?

2. Mustangs from '79 to '95 were all available with a V8 engine. It was a 302(or 5.0) for 15 of those 17 years. Which two years was the 302 not available, and what size was the engine.

3. During the 79-93 run of Fox Mustang production, there was an upgrade from a 7.5" to an 8.8" rear end. What was the first year for the 8.8" and what gear ratios have come from the factory in Mustangs since then?

4. What was the size of the Throttle body on '86 5.0 Mustangs?

5. The '86 Mustang had restrictive cyclindreheads that make great paperweights. What is the casting found on thses heads?

6. The largest optional wheel for 79-84 Mustangs was an odd ball size. What was the size of the wheel in inches, and what was the only make of tire that would fit it?

7. What was the last year of forged pistons in a 5.0?

8. True or false? The Boss 302 Mustangs of 69 and 70 came with huge intake valves in the Cleveland-style head. There was no change in the size of these valves between the two years.

9. If there was a size change in the valves, what was in the 69 and 70 Boss 302s?

10. True or false? Ford's nearly indestructable 2.3L four-banger uses hydraulic valve lifters.

hey i got #1...
SROD stands for,Single Rail Overdrive. the SROD was a 4 speed manual, it was replaced with the stronger Borg Warner T-5 5 speed. people use it today in their rods, if they dont drive hard.
