Hi, can anyone that has the service manual e-mail me the schematics and instructions for changing the Air conditioner filter?
If I turn the AC on and there's even the slightest hint of dampness in the air the vents just blow stink.. like dead animal or rotten stink.. it's gross. but it goes away after a loooong minute or so... :eek7: but if I just turn the heat or blower on it doesn't do it.. so I'm thinking it's the ac filter.
Anyone have any other ideas? unless there really is a dead animal in my ac unit! ewww
thanks

i'm not sure, but i think it's behind the glove box.

You don't need the manual, it's pretty simple really. Just remove the glovebox and note that the A/C filter is behind the glove box on the left side. There is a metal brace that crosses in front of the filter that you will need to remove to get the filter out. Simply remove the old filter and slide a new one in. I have done this several times with no problems, other than removing the metal brace is a bit of a pain in the ass. Good luck.

I tried to do it tonight, the glove box was easy enough to take off but how do you get the bracket covering it out. Do you have to take out more than the glovebox?
