y pipr or b pipe?

okay....i just want to save up and decide which to get...!
...which one makes the most power?....i heard the y pipe...
...put heard that`s hard to install by ur self....
...but i also want the b pipe cuz it`s a little louder... :rolleyes: :)

If your looking for power get the Y-pipe first. I installed mine by myself in less than 2 hours... :D

y pipe, b pipe is useless :wave:

Y pipe connects to the intake manifold B pipe to the muffler right? How much hp would one gain out of using both, combined with the High flow catalytic converter and say a greedy exhaust would the new exhaust system pass emmisions?

u know what?....i was thinking if "we"<MAXIMADRIVERS<,, could get the y pipe and b pipe and get the muffler from nissan....the one that has the valve thing.....u know...the one that the valve controlled muffler from the new maximas...that way we won't lose that much torque and the low range and when the valve opens up it`ll be like a high flow high performance muffler..!!!...i heard that makes 5 hp by itself...!:D

An Exhaust doesn't MAKE any HP... It just frees it up

Easy to install I did my entire exhaust in about 3 hours including cat, and cat-back. I bought the cattman and it's high quality. Have fun.

i took my car to a muffler shop and the guy said i have a hole in my f-pipe is that the same as a y-pipe, or b-pipe and if so where can i get one?

The f-pipe is the same as y-pipe. I think the reason they called it an f-pipe, is because it looks like an f. You can get one from stillen, cattman, or warp speed.

Newbie question: Is there any y-pipes which are quieter or as quiet as stock for the SE 2002. And would it be attachable to the new muffler in the 2K2

yes it does.....but it also makes you lose torque while gaining more top end....depends on your application, drag, track or daily driving =)
