Goodyear Integrities

Has anyone else had their Goodyear Integrity tires wear prematurely or fail out-right before the warranty was up. My tires are bald with only 51,000km on them. They have an 80,000km warranty but after having them inspected at Goodyear, they offered me $84.00 Canadian towards the purchase of 4 new Integrities. It will still cost me over $400.00 plus taxes more to replace them after deducting the $84.00. It sounds like the warranty isn't worth much.

It's a very rare situation when anyone collects on a treadwear warranty. That is why I don't tend to suggest tires based on the treadwear warranty. With most of them you have to document the miles when the tires were rotated, when the vehicle was aligned, and all four tires have to have even wear to demonstrate the car was aligned correctly. 99.9% of all car owners never keep track of any of that. It's more of a marketing thing.

Believe it or not but I have all the documentation on the alignments, rotations and complaints about these tires. They reviewed the information I provided and still only offered me $84.00. Calling the customer service line made no difference. The problems started at approx. 20,000km when a bulge appeared in the front left tire and went from there.
