people say truck systems sound like shit. i dunno what to think i have never heard them. i have 2 e10a.22's in my car and i was gonna put one in the recomende sealed box under the seat with my avionixx 800.2 amp. i sold the other sub. is it worth putting in a truck why the hell would it sound like shit anyways. let me know. peace

I loved they system in my truck. I had 2 kicker L710s with a jbl 1200.1 and some MQ quart components. it sounded awesome. I hit 140s with it. I have no idea why someone would say that trucks sound like crap...mine sounded awesome. I'd say go for it. DOn't let other people make up your mind for you. good luck man

:screwy: Truck systems are just as awesome as long as you've got the room. I had to put'em behind my seats in my reg cab dakota, but it worked. Didn't sound bad and it was worth the two notches of lost leg room. Someone just doesn't know what they're talking about.

yep, trucks have two problems ........ 1) the pathlength difference for the mid/tweets (even if they are in the kickpanels) isn't that good 2) most trucks have a small interior, making anything more then like a 10" sub or 2 out of the question without MAJOR modifications

bass in a truck i think sounds deeper and cleaner cause you are closer to it
i had the same sub and amp in my car and truck and the truck sounded better
but systems in a car = better cause more space

i am puttin the e10a in the recomended sealed enclosure under the back seat of a chevy silverado extended cab. i am puttin it in no matter what i need some bass. i went from db's pushin 160 in my car to around 100 now. it is gay. thanks for the input
