Get the Koni Yellows - 2nd choice illumina
shocks/struts/dampers are devices that control unwanted movement of the spirngs, without them your car would continue to bounce, droops at stops, & handle terrible. Shocks do not hold the car up, springs do - they also dont absorb bumps, springs & tire side walls do - shocks absorb energy created by the chasis, springs, & tires. OEM shocks do not have enough valve capacity to control shorter/stiffer springs - the more a shock works, the hotter the fluid gets & that makes them not perform as well - AKA shock fade. That is 1 reason not use sotck shocks with lowering springs & another reason is that the piston may travel so fast that it WILL blow out seals.
