Chirp / Bark noise in drivetrain

since i bought my Z71 in 2001 (used - 24k on the clock) the truck has exhibited a driveline "bark" or "chirp" upon load, most often when accelerating from a stop light. i've had this problem for the entire 50,000 miles i have owned the vehicle.

both the yoke and u-joints have been replaced under GMPP without correcting the problem. the new yoke is the nickel plated one. 2 months ago, the transmission was completely re-built under GMPP.

i still have the bark noise, and slop in the drive train (clunk) when accelerating... plus the "bark" noise... the "bark" is a different sound than the driveline clunk.

any GM service techs have any service bulletins that i can tell my dealer to reference to attempt to fix this problem? - please note this this is an OLD BODY STYLE 2000 Z71 Tahoe with the 5.7L engine - not the new body style vehicle.

I had the same problem with my 99 4x4 tahoe. It has about 75000 miles on it. I just recently changed the differential fluid to mobil full synthetic with the lucas addative. I changed my transfer case fluid as well. Purple fluid came out and the local g.m. dealer gave me autotrak 2 fluid to put in that is blue. After 10-15 miles of driving no more annoying clunk. I have also heard to check the backlash on the ring gear in the rear differential as well.
