First off there was not an SVT Mustang in 89. The first REAL SVT Cobra was introduced in 93.
For a stock 89 LX with a manual transmission expect mid to upper 14's. Auto tranny, then expect upper 14's to low 15's. Of course driver skill and track conditions will effect the out come.

89-92 are probably the best years, as far as stock motor components are concerned. A friend of mine has a 92 with 130k miles, bone stock, and rips 14.2s at the track, dynoing recently, at 205 rwhp. That's not bad for a stock mustang.
Some are faster, some are slower. My best friend's Capri (92 Mustang Drivetrain) is pretty stout. He runs great times for the stuff he has and laughs at the hordes of people who spend tons more money than he does and can get only 2-3 tenths faster than him.
I gotta hand it to him, his car is quick.

Since your going to get it anyways, go find out for yourself at your nearest track, it'l be alot funner than asking people what it runs, no pun intended, just tellin ya.
