I have a four dour four cylinder 98 accord. What on earth can I do to speed it up? Turbo or an h22 swap?

I've got a 99 and believe me, there is lots of stuff you can do with a 6th gen. I've got about 7 grand worth of bolt ons right now and still going. Got DC 4-2-1 headers, DC short shifter, MDS ignition with Blaster 2 coil, accell plug wires, Denso Iridium plugs, grounding wires, Optima Battery, Unorthodox underdrive pulleys, #1 catback exhaust, !3 strut tower bar, Apexi V-afc air fuel and v-tec controller, autometer tach w/ shift light, eibach sportline lowering springs, tokiko shocks, and now I'm saving up for the turbo kit. Drag makes a stage 1 kit for about $3300. It gives about 80-90+ horsepower. Can also upgrade the clutch, flywheel, more suspension upgrades like stiffer rear sway bars, camber kit. The list goes on, just have to spend some time searching the web. Try going to either groupbuycenter.com and entering in your make and model. Will come up with all the parts available for it, or you can go to sanjosestreetracing.com, and click on their link for parts. There is a website there that does the same thing. Enter in your make and model and it will tell you everything there is for your car. Lots of parts there. That's where you can find the drag turbo. Good luck on beefing up your ride. And if you really want to just swap your engine, look into the F20B motor. Just as much stock HP as an H22 swap. It's the motor Honda used in their Si-R Accord.

Thanks for the advice man. I'm gonna look into the f20 but I already did the dc sports headers and the aem cold air so I think I'll take your advice and keep going with this engine. How much Horsepower are you running right now with all that stuff without the turbo? Would you ever opt for nos?

Got the NOS too. Running a 50 shot from my Nitrous Express kit. I am not sure where I stand on horsepower right now. Probobly 175-180 without NOS. All depends on where I started at. Stock 150 brand new doesn't mean it's stock 150 now. If you do opt for NOS I wouldn't recommend going over the 50 shot until you beef up your internals. You should also try running 104 octane if you can find it. I've heard up to 11 extra horses from it and it's not a killer on the catalytic converter like leaded 110 is. Not sure where you could find it though. I get mine from a race shop down the street from me in Tennessee. Just ask around.
