Offset for Integra with 16"

I am looking into getting some new wheels for my 95 GSR and was wondering what is the optimal offset for it with 16" wheels? I read one post which said 42-45 is good but I was wondering if that applied to 16" wheels? I was mainly considering some wheels with a 40 offset, is that going to be ok? I do plan on eventually lowering the car.

Thanks

40 should be just fine. I believe that 43 is a good offset though for integras and it works out well in every situation.

:iagree: wheel offset changes the track width of a car. track is the distance between the center of each rim.(left to right) the wider, the better! More positive offset with narrow tires is better than less offset with wide tires. Since wider tires do not change track - track can also be changed with performance type wheel spacers.
