Got the sedan 2003 Accord Dx 2.4L.
My questions is...how is it posible that a 2.4L V-tec engine could have only 160hp? and my bro cars is an integra engine 1.6L with 160 also stock?
Did honda make a mistake in the engine or in their website?
Some one please explain to me..
I`m really dissapointed....... :eek7: :disappoin

DOnt focus on hp so much, yours has way more torque than his does. But it is a heavier car so it needs it. Dont worry bout #'s too much, if it feels good to you and gets around nicely then thats all that matters. and integras came with 1.8 engines unless his is old and he did a b16 swap on it. and you cant compare an integra to an accord they're 2 totally different cars that were made for 2 totally different purposes.

Ok I undersand your comment...
But man...c'mon...just think about it...I've an engine twice his....24L and he 1.6L
I `mean...my car is heavier..ok...but.a 2.4L supose to have minimum 200hp....look at the Euro or Type-S Accord 2003...or the Acura TSX 2.4L.. All of them have the same engine 2.4L...same aspect and same I don`t know....but the US engine is the slowest one...at 160hp....isn`t that strange???????
All other same engine has 200 or above.

yeh honda has been known for giving the U.S.A. the lower powered motors, they have to save the higher powered motors for the more uplevel vehicles like acura. like you can get a 200hp civic in japan but only 160 here. eventually it trickles down to us but it takes awhile.
