Car is making a Load noise.

I have a 200sx 1995 stick shift car. It never used to give me problems, know all it is doing is giving me problems. When I am driving my car it make a load noise under the driver and passenger sides. The sound is almost like a deep gringing sound. When I get on the freeway it is even worse. I think that it might be my front axle. I don't want to spend a lot of money at a car place. Are there any suggestions.

try looking in a hanes repair manual..there might be something in ther about the noise in the troubleshooting section.
