ski/snowboard rack question

Hi fellow x owners,
Just got a used 2002 xterra and can't wait to take it up to the mountains while snow pounds to the ground. I plan to buy snowboard racks, but have a problem finding one where I can attach a carrier to the existing factory rack with only mounts. It seems the big name rack manufacturers don't have specific mounts for the x's rack and instead you must install their racks in order to use their snow carriers. Any suggestions on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. this is a f*ckin cool forum.

you'll also need mighty mounts to attach it to the factory rack.

i got my yakima ski rack off of ebay and there are usually more than a few for sale. just make sure it uses the vertical mighty mounts and your good to go. if you want to use a big cargo box style carrier, then i think you will need to buy crossbars.
the x is a great ski mobile, i've loaded mine up and traveled all over the west coast looking for pow.
