Hey guys, is this the best place to post questions about new car-care products? If not I'll post somewhere else next time.
Is anyone familiar with this car washing system? It promises spot free cleaning, with no hand drying. Included is a car-wash type of unit you attach to your hose.

Thanks.

I've seen it on TV a bunch of times, never heard anything about it. Like if it actually works, water filters will do the same, but can be very expensive. You could also use bottled water for the same effect, or even rain water - which some detailer actually collect rain water, so I've heard.

I use it and it works pretty well. Follow the instructions and the car will dry on its own with no spots.

it is not worth the money, and you have to keep buying refills for it. It also leaves a residue behind that seems to cause problems with some waxes/sealants. If you are looking for spot free washing try using a leaf blower. If you are looking to only remove light-moderate dirt try some Spray and Wipe from www.poorboysworld.com (http://www.poorboysworld.com)

I haven't tried it, but it basically sounds like dishwasher detergent. I think is Cascade that won't leave spots?

spot free wash = rinse rinse rinse!!!! soap fast rinse long and always rinse top to bottom shooting down wards , thats how you do it. Use a ph balanced soap and dont use gobs of soap , the less soap you use the better it works. I havent wiped a car down in months unless to get rid of drips when its pulled up front waiting for a customer.

Do you use the soap supplied or your own?

I only use what I like to use (Im the Boss) the car soap I use is called Pro Tec car Soap and a detergent based car soap called Tunnel Wash car soap , the tunnel wash doesnt rinse as nice as the car soap because it uses detergents that dont fully rinse out. I use it on used cars for fast washes , car soap works well with my polishing system and wont interfere with my polishing if my worker is spraying off a car with soap in the next bay.

I mean the original link... the first one in this thread.
But hearing about your paint would be interesting.

we bought one and with the hardnes in the water it worked 2 or 3 times for one set of filters. r/o water works the best($350) later life is good.
