Well, I have posted about 20 times already, but I never introduced myself and see that a lot of forum newbies are doing it, I guess it is the polite thing to do, lol. My name is Greg, I'm 32 and have been into the sport compact car scene for a while now. Between my wife and I, we have a 1990 240sx, 1991 Civic HB, 2002 Protege 5 and a 97 Ranger (you gotta haul stuff ya know, lol). The 240 is awaiting the SR20DET swap, of course, just waiting till I can afford to do it the way I want the first time. The Civic is like a project that is always on again/off again, whenever I have time and a few bucks, but honestly, it is the most fun to work on out of all the cars. I just did the MPFI conversion on it, but I also have a ZC and a Z6 waiting in my garage, plus I am currently piecing together a turbo kit, lol. On top of those, it just has a DC short shifter, OBX cat back, DC front upper strut bar and 89 CRX Si wheels. The P5 has the basic bolt on stuff...wheels, springs, exhaust, intake, short shifter, etc..plus a CF hood, rear valance, downforcers (some call them splitters). My wife and I enjoy going to shows, especially the Super Street Tour and the NOPI Nationals!! Anyway, I am sure you have read more than you wanted to, soo. Oh, one more thing I am a MECP 1st class certified installer, have been for about 10 years, so if you have any questions regarding audio/security/video or 12v in general, I will be more than happy to help you out the best that I can.

peace
Griff

Thanks guys and by the way, I finally convinced my wife to pull the graphics off of the P5, I really did not like the break-away pieces on the rear, lol.

I'm not a big fan of graphics, but the ones on your MP5 are just subtle enough to look really nice! BTW, the 240 is sweet too! Now lets see some pics of that 4g!

The hatchie ain't much to look at right now. It has some minor rust and somebody backed into the driver door, although it's not real bad. I should have used the money to get it fixed, but it went towards one of the other cars. I should get some up though, so I can track it's progress.

P.S. Thanks for the compliments on the other cars.

Welcome to the board.

Very nice cars you've got, although, I gotta say I hate the fake NOS bottle in the M5.

Well, that was suppossed to be TEMPORARY, the wife wanted bass for the trip to the NOPI Nationals. I just tucked a little Rockford amp under the seat and used that since I did not have time to build an enclosure. I actually planned on doing something more of a "full" install, but I just never have time. Maybe this winter, she will either drive the 4G or we might buy another car for the winter. It (the tube) will go eventually.

Thanks for the compliments otherwise.

Welcome to the forums. I already have a security question for you. I bought this CRX project car, and it has an alarm and a really crappy shave job on the door handles. I can't get it to pop the door solenoid, and the guy I got the car from doesn't have any real info on the alarm system. Is there a way to find out what brand the alarm is, and to figure out how to work it? The keychain doesn't have any brand on it, and I don't know where the brain box would be. Would it be tapped into the ecu? I really would be grateful for any help you could give!!!

Again, welcome!!
