Climate Control knob

i've posted about this before, but i have a different question. Would it be that the climate control is broken if the knob to turn the air from hot to cold be broken? or is it a problem under the hood?

It could be broken under the hood, or it could be a problem with the cable that controls it. Find the valve on the heater hose, and try spraying it with some wd-40 to loosen it up some, in case it is stuck, that may be all thats wrong with it.
