Evo Vii ???

Hi im a true newb to this EVO VII...:confused:

Can anyone tell me what it is??? What is so special about it?? why is everyone talkin bout it?? Any info....engine? specs???

Well, the Lancer Evolution series is the god of four door sedans in japan (and soon to be the U.S. The Evo VII has 280 horses, all wheel drive, 0-60 in under 6 seconds, quater mile in the 14's. Need is say more?

and whats the diff beeween that and the V,Vi?? and did those come out to US??? and if yes.....how much are they

Well as of now the wheel is on the left cause its in japan and europe. The only model that is, or will be available in the U.S. is the VII. They are still working on gettin it the U.S. so it probably wont be here until late 2002. The priceing is suposed to be around 25,000 to compete with the Subaru WRX, but if heard higher so.... Now the difference between the V, VI, VII, are the years basicaly and the styling and the horses a little. When the update the model line the give it a new number. The 2001 is the VII.

They were saying for the Dyno tests that the "280" hp Evo VII was atctually hitting 340...Like back in the 70's with the chargers that the engine had "310" hp, but in reality it was around 400. Gentelmans limit men...gentelmans limit.

go to www.yahoo.com and look under "lancer evo vii" you will get alot of info about the car. As far as I know its one of the best handling cars and for a four door it kicks A$$. 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. These are japanese specs. 280hp four wheel drive, ayc,acd. Choose between tarma, gravel or snow. Can go on and on but look it up and find out yourself:smoker2:
