An AFC is what you need, as well as a data logging tool to accompany it.

95% of 95 turbo dSMs had an EPROM ecu. Since an AFC is ~300 bucks, and a logger of some sort is ~300 bucks (say 200 for pocketlogger and 100 for a decent palm, etc), that 5-600 bucks would be VERY WISELY SPENT on DSMlink. If you have to buy an EPROM ECU, then it may not make so much sense. But if you have the right ECU, you'd be crazy to not run DSMlink. Its the best thing going for 2Gs. Enough so that even 1g guys that traditionally hate 2Gs are converting to 2g ECUs just to run DSMlink. I think you know enough about it already, so go see if you have an EPROM ecu ;)

If I had the DSMlink when my setup was the same as yours with the 14b, I have no doubt I would have run low 12s at least instread of the 12.7s I got.

95 GSX, take 10 minutes and pull your ECU to check for an EPROM. If its not there, dont bother. Do like talon said and pick up an AFC and pocketlogger.

yes, for now.....

450s are plenty of fuel for race gas. But I found the stock injectors limited the boost I could run on pump gas...

i wanted to run 16psi will 450's be enough???

Shoudl be. Have to datalog to be sure though ;) I believe after the Supra IC install, 16 psi was the highest I could go on a cold day. In warmer weather 17-18 psi was doable.

something i forgot to mention was that the highest octane rating around here is 91 on a stock intercooler will this be sufficient??

P.S. i do have an EPROM ECU

It will just be another limiting factor in how much boost/timing you can run... Thankfully you'll have DSMlink to keep things safe, since you can actually monitor knock unlike every other 2g logger out there ;) Definitely cool that you have an EPROM already.

Not sure if I mentioned this before. But another reason to get DSMlink, is access to the DSMlink forums. By far the most useful forums out there. No BS, all technical info.
