car probs, need help please

hi, i bought a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse GS-t for $3000, the car is in great shape, lots of mods. the prob is it wont start. when I try to start it it makes a loud clicking noise. thought the battery was dead so i tried to jump start it. car still dose the same thing. i need some help finding the prob so i can get my car on the road and out of my drive way. thanks for the help.

well that is pritty much what the car is doing. i guess what i should be asking is what are all the possible things it could be and about how much am I looking at to fix it because i need to get the car to my house(150 miles) from where it is. and I have one day and limited cash to do this in.

well i guess you need to bust out some tools and start checking those things listed in the thread, if you dont find the culpret come back with the info from everything you checked and we can help you out. with out soem numbers there isnt much we can do for you. :thumbsup:

ok which is it - is it at home or 150 miles away, somethings a little weird here :newbie:

get a car dolly, you can rent them from Uhaul, it goes under the front tires and hooks to trailer hitch and you can tow it yourself from wherever you car is at!!
