the fast and the furious jetta

ok....ive been searching for a long time now and i cant seem to find the specs of the jetta in the fast and the furious....i just want to know how much ass it kicks? please send to [email protected]

hey not much info i can give but i do remember right after the first fast and furious came out the jetta was on sale on ebay... that little son of a bitch from malcolm in the middle ended up winning too... any way, it did not kick that much ass... it had a 600 dollar body kit... which is ass cheap, it was only a lip, side skirts, and rear valence... the engine was a 2.0 liter, it was a GL (lowest model... but only really interior options low)... it was automatic... i believe it did have nitrous tho... i dunno... it seemed a lot cooler in the movie than it was in real life...

everything in movies are less cool than they look. you think they are really going to take a really ((REALLY)) exapensive ass car and beat it up, go over jumps, and do all kinds of engine work to it, just to bang it up and then to rebuild one to sell?? come on guys. it was a movie. they used special effects and crazy camera shots to make em look fast. The only really "kick ass cars" in that movie were the ones that were brought in by the extras that got to be in the movie and they brought their own cars in.

Exactly, remember that movie is a rice boys wet dream. Loud cars and lackluster real world performance. Its pretty f'ed up when the fastest car among the evolution, skyline and rx-7 is a s2000. They should have called it the "The Fat and the Flatulent" and "2Fat 2Flatulent" peace. :2cents:
