What should my 95 keyless fob look like?

The key fob that I got with the my 95 Bonneville does not work with the car. I tried a new battery and the programming instructions. No dice.

In my search for a replacement fob, I am seeing that most of the fobs shown as being for a 95 Bonnie are square, while mine is rounded, and much more similar to my 98 and 2001 Montanas.

I am thinking that the seller gave me the wrong fob, since there is a GM key on that ring that does not work with my car, either.

Can anyone tell me what I am looking for in a 95 Bonneville remote key fob???

your remotes are suppose to be the same and the fcc numbers must match exactly. the remotes work on certain frequencies and each gm car can have different remote frequencies and the remotes look the same

you key fob should be square. the 96+ bonnies got the round style remotes.
