Don't quote me on this but i think the si vtec is the H23 engine in preludes just vtec from the regular H22 Vtec. I don't know i heard that you can put a H22 head on a H23 block and you can get 220-240 Hp out of it. I assuming with no other mods done you can get that kind of hp. But anyways if that helps.

The Si Vtec is the same as the H22 Vtec, the prelude has different models, SE, Si, Vtec, and i can't remember the others, but the Si was just the faster model of the prelude. The Prelude Si has the H23 (160hp) and the Si VTEC has the H22 (about 190-200hp). I believe the SE is the f22 SOHC engine, and there's different models form europe and japan but i can't remember which 1's...

PS...is that tru about the H23 block w/H22 head? 240-260 hp, bekuz i'm having a JDM H22 Type S put in my 4th gen.

That is what i have heard about the H23 block and H22 head. There is a forum in here that talks about it well not really just says that you could get 220 - 240 hp out of it. Not sure though i would like to try it and see if it really works.
