whats the value of a 88 pickup?

I am thinking of selling my 88 Toy pickup after driving it in good operating condition for 138,000 miles. I'd like to sell it myself, it would be a great second work vehical for someone.

What's the value and what experiences has anyone had in this?

I just bought a 1993 for $500. It is a little rusty around the edges, but everything works except the backup lights, it's an extended cab, has a bed liner and topper, cloth interior, AM-FM radio. I saw it just after the seller put it out at the end of his driveway, and I bought it before anyone else stopped. around here, an 88 in good shape would go for $1500 to $2000 or more.
Did I say that my 93 has over 303,000 miles? Should be good for another 10 years.
