Not the cops where I live.. They'll tell you they'll break the window, but then they get to do all the fun stuff, and you have a smashed window. :p

It's easy if you got some time. Write down your vin number and take it to a honda dealership and they can make you another key. That's what I did.

man it suxs looking your keys in the car....
... i made an even worse mistake....
...i left the keys in the ignition with the stereo on, man did i feel stupid. i must have spaced out while getting out of my car, then to make matters worse i didn't figure out i had done this until i come back out to my car to leave for lunch, so my car was sitting there with the stereo running for like 5 hours! i had to get a ride home so i could grab my spare key, luckily the car still started up just fine (my stereo isn't much).
lol i feel like a retard for doing that :loser:

Dude... it's mad easy to break into our cars.
When I first bought my sedan, I accidentally locked the only set of keys I had for it inside. Fortunately, since I'd done the sedan rear door-handle conversion on my hatch, I was pretty familiar with how the lock-rod works, so all I had to do was bend a coat-hanger up and slide it down inside the door and push the lock-rod down. Bang, done.

How in the hell can you lock your keys in a CRX? I have to keylock my door from the outside. The only way that I could possibly lock mine in is if I reach through the passenger side to lock the drivers door and drop them. or drop em in the hatch.
I take it that mine is either screwed up or not all CRX's have to be keylocked from the outside.

Thats's how my car is too, except you can push the lock down when the door is open as long as you are holding the door handle open.

if you hold the handle on the door and push the lock, they will close, but if you just try to lock it, it wont work.
but and easy way to get in, is to get a flathead screwdriver, put it up into the top of glass where the rubber is and pry back the window from the frame, then slide a hangar or something hard through the opening to move the switch.

Yeah, on the driver-side door, if you want to lock the car from the inside (without using the key), you have to hold the interior handle (like you're opening the door from the inside), and flip the lock with your thumb.
And, I'd advise against using the screw-driver method posted by crxlvr... That could break the window, and it could also bend the regulators that push the window up and down so that the window won't close properly anymore. Plus it's not necessary if you use the coat-hanger trick that I mentioned above. Just straighten out the coat-hanger, and then at the end, make a ben so it looks like this:
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=503/25866coathanger.jpg
Then, slide it down between the glass and the exterior door panel, just above the door-handle. Slide it down so that the kinked end is just above the lock cylindar, and push the lock-rod down. May take a while to get it just right, but it will work.

I'll let you know my way of breaking into cars. Take a screwdriver or something of the sort and slide it between the top of the door and the car, since this is your car you might want to wrap the screwdriver in something so you don't scratch your car. Then use that to pry the door open a little bit, you can safely pull it out 6". Then take something like ci5ic posted and reach it down there to pop your lock open. Voila, it's unlocked.
I prefer to bend the whole door instead of just the window like others posted, hate it when I shatter the glass. And the door can bend so much farther without being damaged.

This is the easiest way i have found to do it, get a coat hanger, try to get your window cracked just enough to fit the end with the hook on it through the window then push the hanger all the way down and latch it around the hatch latch and pull, its easy as hell to do i have done it on my car and 2 CRXs

Call Winnepeg & ask for the guys that stole my sh1t. They were kind enough to break in without breaking any glass or scratching my doors.

if u dont have power windows, jus try forcing the winow down, lol crx's+all other hondas have weak window tracks, so it might come off or break either one, but still better then paying a lock smith 35 to come out 2 your car with a cloths hanger and jimmy it down the side into the panel then u tell him its not power, and hes like Oh... and so he gets a diffrent cloths hanger and starts on another place, and scratchs up your window, then says hes not gonna fix it, and after he finaly get it unlocked, that night it rains, and water leaked in from the bottom of the door panel because he messed up the outside seal on your window, and you call him back....... ok yeah.. ummm imma go now
