Eh, signatures

Hey
This is not a cry for help or threat or anything, but could people please TUNE DOWN THE SIZE OF THEIR SIGS?!!?! There are users in here who have 400x400 pixel + signatures, which I think is totally ridiculous, especially when I have to scroll for two hours to get to a post. People that come to mind are fujimituner235 and 86_SR5.

I mean there is a limit between normal and GIGANTIC. Sorry, but it just gives me the shits having to look at one line of post, followed by something sharing the equivalence of 20 lines.

So please, if someone could make some rules or something regarding banner size, THEN please do so and enforce it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that, and while those sigs are nice and entertaining at times, I think it is very inappropriate. Standard banner size is usually around 450x100pixels.

Thanks all
-Seb

I'm assuming you have a regular dial-up modem. Sucks dude. I dont really think that they will downsize their cool signatures. But it would help espically on the threads with hugi-fied pictures.

I second that. I'm on a 1.1MB/SEC connection however it's still a bit annoying when the signature pictures are so large.

im on 512/128kbs ADSL. I have nothing to worry about speed wise. It is just annoying, plain and simple.

Im running 1280x1024 resolution and this is what I see on more than one occasion. I mean its overkill (like HLJ packaging, lol)

Check your user options. You can choose to hide the sigs.

I judged the size of mine as what I am used to in my resolution, if it is too big, please, tell me.

have your sig whatever size ya want, if people dont like it then turn off the option to see sigs, simple. no bitchin. i personaly like sigs being individual coz then i can find my way through posts quicker.

I agree with Sebstar.
Individual sigs are ok, but why do they have to be so large?

Hm, just found that helpful option. No more sigs for me, weeeee.

Still, Sigs are sigs, not pictorial life stories :D

I agree 100%, I have a cable connection so speed is not a problem.

I hate sig picsand have turnd off the sigs since day one, which leads to a new problem........I can't see peoples links in there sigs.

Oh well I guess we just have to deal with it, kinda like underbody neons.

Actually signatures should be kept at a decent size out of respect to other forum members.

not trying to sound a bit pedantic but your sig is larger than the ones that they are complaining about.

cant we just talk about models in here or impose a 300x800 limit or sumfin?

Oh great....another pissing match....

When will the madness end... :disappoin

I come here to see what's going on with models, not to see fighting and commotion.....come on guys, play nice.

lets resolve this nicely. Now maybe there should be a limit on say the height. i personaly love floyonthewalls little sigs, shallow but wide.

one rule for everyone.

ps, i love hiroboys new sig, how about a how to dude?

I change mine on a regular basis; i have no complaints. I was merely stating what someone is likely to be told by one to whom it matters a great deal. If mine is too large for anyone, I'll be happy to change it.

no, your is useless ! :evillol:

This problem was pointed before. I made thread about that and that never changed anything. so I think we loose our time.

I PM some user when they use wallpaper as sing, some are happy and size it down (sometime I size it down for them) but some just say F*uck you and never change it..

Tonio, I already sent you a PM about your sing quite some time ago, you did resize it, but since you have changed it, you have come back to the old size.

I think a limit of 150*600 should be inplanted.....

look mine, it's 100*418.. why bigger ?

Edit: Tonio changed his sing

No wonder they didn't change it. If you don't have nothing nice to say then dont' say it Vric. :nono:

Man, I am so tired of "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything" garbage. While I agree, no one should be abusive and cause trouble or violate the rules of the forum, sometimes the not nice things do, in fact, need to be said. If it hurts your feelings that someone says something like "your signature is too big" then you take this stuff to seriously. But this applies to most anything on the board, not just this thread.

And besides that, yes, I think some signatures are immense. I'm on cable so it doesn't slow me down, but when a thread has someone with an enormous signature writing every other post, man does that get rediculous. And to make it easier to find you way through a thread-- that's what avatars are for... I thought? Anyway, I don't care either way when it's all said and done. I just decided to weigh in here. Not really sure why....

Edit: I'm not trying to jump down your throat or start any sort of feud so don't get all mad at me and start cursing me out and all that business, whoever it is that has the post directly before this one who's name I've forgotten.

Microsoft paint will resize... its under attributes. If you have a Mac and don't have something to resize with, something's just wrong with that :iceslolan .
