what do u guys think about the quick drives

hey guys i was just wondering what you guys think about the tamiya quick drives (on road)??? just the cons and pros???
generally how fast and are they upgradeable and stuff???

They are like the Tyco cars from toy stores. They are not upgradeable and they are slower in all respects than the car you're driving now. The good thing is that they are cheap. But honestly...the OFNA you have right now is way better, and completely tuneable and adjustable, the Quick Drives aren't.

i basically bought the qd as a play around i heard they go about 30km and they last about 20 mins which is what i like cause my ofna lasts 4 mins max

your OFNA only lasts 4 minutes? I have a Tamiya touring sedan and on a stock motor and 2000 mah batteries it lasts 20 minutes. There must be something wrong with your motor or the batteries.

i think the batteries are f#@ked i just bought the 12 turn motor and 8 turn capable esc so its batts for sure

Do you know how to take care of your batteries? if you need some info let me know. :smokin: keeping the motor well maintained can also affect the run times.
