Hard starting

I've got a 1997 chevy suburban with 7.4L (Vortec - 454), and lately it has had a hard time starting. The battery and starter seem fine, but it has to crank for a while before it starts.
The spark plugs and wires were recently replaced. What should I look at first? Fuel pump, fuel injectors, etc.?
Please help if you can. Thanks!

Check the fuel pressure regulator for evidence of fuel in the vacum line. If you find any, replace the regulator.

The last reply was correct. Replace the regulator. I have a '98 7.4l that I just replaced and it runs great now. It's a lot of work on the 7.4L.

Mine got to where it would never start on the first crank unless I cranked for 10 to 15 seconds (not good). I noticed that if I cranked for just a couple of seconds, stopped, cranked again, it would start right up. Ended up being the cheapest part out there....fuel filter. Hope you get as lucky as I did.
