A33 maxima

is the chassis for an 00-01 the exact same as an 02-03? i'm wondering cuz i found a FSTB for a decent price, but the web page only specifically mentions 00-01 maxima's. they're interchangable, right?

I would imagine so. As far as I know, the only things that really changed were the engine, tail lights and grill. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't fit. If I were you, I'd make sure though...Just in case.

From what I've read and seen yes but the only thing you really have to worry about applying an FSTB in the 3.5 is because it tends to sit a little higher than the 3.0 probably has something to do with the engine cover, not really sure though.

I have heard that some over at the orgy have had to use spacers to make certain FSTBs fit because of the height of the cover.

It all depends on what kind of FSTB you have though.
I have the Bomz and it fit perfectly, haven't had to use extra washers or spacers.
