Hand Break Problems

ok i am having some problems with my hand break, when ever i push the button in to release it the button will jam / stick in the handle. So im wondering if WD40 down in the handle will help any or if i should just call up the garage and see what they say. I can still drive fine i just have to hit the handle when its down and it will pop out, its just very annoying.

I would try something like wd-40 first...it's not going to break it, and it can't really make it worse.

You could try that, it could also be that the e-brake cable is binding & getting ready to break. There could even be rear brake problem.

ok thx ill try WD40 and give it a day or 2 and if it doesnt go away i guess ill call the garage
