Need help

I just installed my pioneer receiver and the memory wont stay. The clock will go back to 12 everytime it goes off and i installed it how its supposed to be. I installed one before no problem and for some reason this is like this. Need help.

you are missing your constant power wire... a wire that always has 12v even when the key is off. this is what keeps the clock set correctly and keeps the station memories etc. for the radio

i have the constant power wire connected. its just that it wont do it. it wont save the memory. Also i think i did something because the only way my deck will turn on is if i connect the constant wire and the power wires together that the only way my deck will turn on.

you have to wire your constant wire before the ignition and the acc wire after the ignition
