how long have you been in RC? gas cars are not for rookies!

1. You can crash it because they're really fast.

2. you can ruin it the first time you run it if you tune the engine wrong.

3. gas cars are a mess to work on! You can't work on it in your room!
(unless you want to catch cancer from the fuel fumes!)

4. Gas cars are expensive because you need constant maintenance.

Plus...Tamiya gas cars are crappy. The new HPI Nitro rs4 pro whatever is a better car. But don't do it...I'm begging you, please don't buy a gas car!

I have been around RC cars for around 15 years now and i have had a lot of cars both gas and electric but at the end of the day my pick would still have to be electric, but thats just my opinion, i hate the amount of stuffing around and the fumes involved in maintaining a gas car, i like having a clean car, anyone who has had a gas car will tell you that its a messy business. the only draw back about having an electric is that you have to spend big dollars, once you start adding up motors, batteries, speed controller, charger you will be talking big bucks there if you want something that handles and is quick.
