Do you have an 88-91 Civic Hatchback? Have you modded it up to some decent numbers, but still want more? Do you like Convertibles? Well, then the Vitesse roadster might be for you. It's a complete rebody for this year range of civic hatchback.
With a complete kit including convertible top, taillights, and headlight assemblies running near $6000, this isn't a cheap kit. However, the result is something quite different from the typical kit cars. Personally, I think it's a great change from the fiero and VW bug kits, and may give rise to more rebodies for import enthusiasts who just aren't happy with ground effects.
I have been told by the kits creator that a coupe version is in the works, designed to fit on a CRX chassis. Both cars will be displayed at this years kit car show in Carlisle PA, May 18-20. If anybody goes, get me some pictures!!!!!!!

I would suggest a Engine swap to a ITR or GSR engine first.

That's not bad at all . . . I do think it would be extra hot with an engine swap . . . that's not a bad car!
Considering for around $10,000 you could have something totally unique!
