Rear Window Defrost

Hey, I have a 98 Taurus GL. My rear window defrost isn't working. The button for the defrost will not light. Checked fuses under dash and under hood. Both are fine. Could this be the relay under the dash?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

check the wires that plug into the lines on the rear window
