Streetracing...where is it still good?

I live in SoCal near Huntington Beach. I was wondering where all you guys streetrace, and what places are still good? I haven't been to the races in a few years, and would like to see what's goin on these days.

You'll thank me when your dumbass gets your license suspended after you get a ticket handed to you that says "drag racing, exhibition of speed, speeding, reckless endangerment, laying drag" and a whole host of other charges, and as if having a ticket handed to you isn't bad enough, you will get you ASS handed to you when you have to take out a house mortgage to pay the fines.

Yeah, Im pretty sure that says it. Ive been in street races before and admit it, but it was against a friend of mine, and we were doing it to compare our cars' performance before and after doing modifications to his exhaust system, and we did it in a well secluded area. I'll have to jump on the "take it to the track" bandwagon on this one.

Two places where street racing is fun.....

1/ On the drack.Get yourself an old shitter and go derby racing.It would probably cost you much less than the fine if you get caught street racing,and you can use full contact as a fair racing tool. :smokin:

i do know from experience...the terrible experience of Toksin telling me all his stories about friday nights with Brutus...*shudder* turned me off crime for good, that's for sure.

I know streetracing is dangerous and illegal. All I wanted to ask for was where its at? I just wanna spectate on the weekend or something. Don't plan to race, so stop flaming.

Huntington Beach? Well, there is the great little patch of road right behind the local police department. I'd go there. Just roar back & forth so the others will hear you & come.
