buying 1994 Astro

I am in the process of buying a 1994 Astro 2 WD and have a couple questions for the masses.
-What should I be looking for when checking the vans out.
- Are the bench seats with rear headrests interchangeable with the '94
that doesn't have them, and what years are compatible?
